Support and Assistance
Bachelor Program in Statistics supports the success of student studies by delegating academic advisors from the teaching staff team. Academic advisors provide academic guidance to students with meetings at least twice each semester. The list of support and assistance service provided by the study programmed, and the personnel or unit in charge are as follows:
Head of Study Program
The person in-charge of evaluation and development in study guidance.
Academic Advisor
The staff, usually a lecturer that help students to prepare their individual study plans and follow their developments. They provide guidance in the selection of compulsory and elective courses from the perspective of career guidance. They are study guidance personnel appointed by the chair of the study program. Students can consult with them if there are problems with study.
Thesis Advisor
A lecturer chosen to provide guidance in the selection of research topics and to prepare the final project for students, and guidance in the development of thesis, data processing, and research methodology.
Lecturer
The lecturers facilitate the learning process that has been previously scheduled in accordance with the assignments assigned by the head of the study program.
Counseling
A service provided by the university to counsels’ students in problems related to studies and learning, even personal problems where needed, and provides expertise in issues involving learning and guidance. More information can be found on https://pbk.unhas.ac.id/
